Rib Eatin Taste Test in Mobile Alabama

MeatHenge’s crack reporter Cindy heads off to Mobile for a late in the year meat treat. This time though, there’s been a change in the menu! There’s a new rib place in town. She and her friends pile into the Winnie and head out to find out whose ribs are best.
Please look to your left and under “FEATURED ARTICLES” you’ll notice the two entries for the Rib Off v1 and v2.

  1. I’ve always wanted an RV, for a few reasons. One for traveling and making it nice. And one for going to local occasions and not having to drive home loaded. But now, this opens an entire universe. Now I see I can go from place to place gathering food stuffs to eat ON SITE. I can eat a world famous cheese burger immediately or get FRESH salmon and prepare it RIGHT THERE. Not only this, but it gives me an excuse for collecting more knives and cookware! YAY. I am very very very excited.

  2. Dreamland is the best bbq I’ve ever had. I hit the one in Tuscaloose a couple times (although I do really like Pilot House in Cape Girardeau, Missouri). Now I’ll have to try Woodys.
My next-door neighbor (originally from ‘bama) gave me a jar of Dreamland BBQ sauce last year. I didn’t know you could get it that way. If I get another jar from her, I’ll take it to Dr. Biggles house and will refuse to leave until he cooks me ribs with it.

  3. Hey Dave,
Yeah man, git sauce, we eat. Sheet yeah. Hay, next time you hit the road grab your digital camera and bring back some stories. Or howabout some repo man food?

  4. The next time I go back, we’re going to venture into the ‘hood to try out Roger’s BBQ. We’ve heard that “it’s so good, it’ll make you slap someone”!
