Swamped? Overwhelmed? Scatterbrained?

All that and more, much more. Wanted to stop by and let you know we’re okay, just can’t get to that webernet thingy. We attempt, but don’t bring no fruit.
I love ya’ll, hang tight and goodies will roll, this way or that.

  1. You’ve got a spit!!!??!?!?!?
Of course you’ve got a spit.
I started a comment about a hundred years ago to commend you on your new look (could your banner be more adorable and delicious?), but I think I deleted it.
That doesn’t mean I’m not checking in. Just retarded busy. You know. But things seem to be cooling down as they’re heating up…
Why does it seem that everyone but me has a spit?
Or actually, is that some other foreign device that I don’t even have vocabulary for??

  2. Hay!
Uh, well, sorry to leave Krista and BQ hangin’, but that spit is only used to raise and lower the grill. Sorry to let you down, but it sure does look cool, eh? I bought that from Chilebrown.

  3. Sirs,
Ive got a Cannon AE1 like that. It wont die, and it just keeps spitting out amazing pictures of Limes, about 10% of the time. Its hard to part with an old friend sometimes….
Found someone who will give me some money to trade up to a proper picture box of this century. Feeling like Judas for considering it.

  4. Miss you dude.
I’m new in town, but I love your posts, and look forward to the next one like it is a gift, just for me.

  5. So, Rev, why don’t you lose your current internet service and get a new one – we miss the humor as well as the meat!

  6. Hey Salvage,
Keep it !!! The digital equivalent costs more than a few thousand dollars. Buy film, process and have scanned to disc, far nicer results.
    AmyLynn, Kudzu, Zoomie & others,
Well, the worst of it is over now. My mother passed Saturday morning and have been visiting hospitals/nursing homes for the last month or so.
Mumsy had a stroke back in about ’91 that removed the use of her right arm, leg and a severe case of aphasia. Since then she’s been able to live completely on her own, everything she did herself. But over the last few years her mind started to slip along with many falls and trips to the ER. A month ago she fell and broke her leg and that was pretty much that.
In a moment of clear thought I contacted the Trident Society on Friday, they take care of her afterwards. Now I have a lot of phone calls to make and start taking down her apartment.
All things considered we’re doing just fine, we’ve been expecting something like this for years and have said our peace. It’s an odd feeling to be on the other side of the fence now.
    Onward!
